MY NAME IS MILDRED
Hollywood native, Mildred Saldana, is an artist who loves pizza, glitter, dogs, and bad puns. A recent grad of ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA, her exhibitions include having two pieces presented at Alyce de Roulet Williamson Gallery at ArtCenter College of Design. Saldana creates art that is playful and vibrant with color, and whimsy that is inspired from music, pop culture, food and mid-century designs. Versatile, flexible, and adaptable to work in different art styles, her personal technique involves using flat graphic shapes, saturated color, and unique composition. Saldana is familiar with digital processes and traditional techniques such as gouache and ink. Mildred is a well-rounded designer and is passionate about learning and working in the art world in fields such as consumer products, editorial, and entertainment.
